
Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Ulla T. Schultheiss was awarded the DGfN Future Award in Nephrology by the Board of Trustees of the German Society of Nephrology (DGfN) for her project entitled “Interactive Exploration of Adverse Events and Multimorbidity in CKD.”
Within the framework of the CKDNapp-Junior consortium, a sub-study of the GCKD Study, interactive plots were generated using R Shiny and Shiny Proxy, incorporating all events that occurred during the 6.5-year follow-up period after enrollment. The results were made available to researchers through an R Shiny web application.

The Future Award recognizes innovative research projects in the field of nephrology. The award is presented annually and is endowed with a prize of €3,000. The award ceremony took place on September 28 during the 16th Annual Meeting of the German Society of Nephrology (DGfN) in Berlin.
